Location
RiverPark West is located at the intersection of U.S. 59 South and Williams Way Blvd. in Fort Bend County, Texas, southwest of Houston. The Williams Way Blvd. overpass provides easy north-south access on U.S. 59, and RiverPark West is just minutes from the Grand Parkway (Texas 99) that links U.S. 59 and I-10. Other major thoroughfares within easy access are Highway 6 and Highway 90-A.
Description
A 545-acre master-planned community, RiverPark West will have 1,100 homes when completely developed. Like its adjacent sister community, RiverPark, it has also been meticulously planned to emphasize nature preserves and greenbelts. Our prestigious group of builders includes Perry Homes, J. Patrick Homes, Meritage Homes, Brighton Homes and D. R. Horton Homes. Along with a recreational center, RiverPark West offers a 23-acre sports facility, including baseball, soccer and softball fields.
Community Services
RiverPark Shopping Center, a major regional shopping center, opened in the spring of 2003 at U.S. 59 and the Grand Parkway. The 45-acre shopping center is anchored by an HEB supermarket and includes such tenants as Bank of America, Walgreens, Blockbuster and a 100,000-square-foot Star Furniture showroom. Recent dining facilities now open in the center include Joe’s Crab Shack, Chick-Fil-A, Chili’s and Salt Grass Steakhouse. Memorial Hermann Healthcare System recently purchased 28 acres within the development for the creation of its new Sugar Land Hospital campus and opened its first Hopital phase and Professional Building I in 2006. RiverPark is located near the highly regarded community of Sugar Land where libraries, the University of Houston/Sugar Land and First Colony Mall are just minutes away.
Technology
All homes built in the community have a pre-installed hybrid fiber optic communications network that will offer local and long distance telephone service, digital cable, broadband internet and monitored alarm services. These services are offered by En-Touch Systems, Inc., a leading provider of bundled telecommunications services. Schools
RiverPark West is located in the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, which has a 15-acre site adjacent to the community boundary on Ransom Road and opened the “Exemplary Rated” Hutchison Elementary in the fall of 2005. More than 75% of Lamar CISD graduates are college-bound, and half of the high school graduates are recommended or distinguished program participants, making them “Texas School Grant Eligible."
